China is a relatively new destination on my horizon. Although I’ve seen plenty of films  to be inspired to visit, I’ve only recently started to look at it seriously. With the exception of Hong Kong, which I hear is very easy for western tourists, China is definitely an escorted holiday. I have no interest in trying to navigate a trip like this on my own. This itinerary is likely to change a lot before it becomes reality.
